Who has traveled far and taken or used a combination gun as their primary hunting arm?

L2S posted in another thread about using a combo gun for francolin and buffalo.
Seems to me that birds to buff is the essence of mixed bag hunting. To do so on a different continent from where one resides adds to the "cool factor".

How many here have traveled to distant lands and used a combination gun?
This is a pretty decent kudu that fell in Zimbabwe to the 9,3X74R barrel of a Valmet 412.
