on GB, #469718064. I don't know anything about them at all, but it sure looks nice!
Charles Daly marketed some good drillings from the 1880s through the early 1930s. Most were made for Daly by J.P. Sauer, and some were higher grade guns from Lindner.
Current bid is $855 with the caveat " Not to be shot ".
For that amount it better go bang.
they say not to be shot because of the Damascus barrels and no other reason...actually damascus means may or may not be shot, it depends.....need a closer look at the shotgun barrels, if they are in good shape they can be shot with some loads
that sucker went cheap...
Not really, IMO. It wasn't a collector grade gun, and it wasn't a good one to shoot. It Was an interesting gun that went for all it was worth.
I know of one like it in 10ga/38-55 that's all original. It sold for $1,000.00 to a friend locally.
YES! It would be a lot of fun to own and shoot. It's not the usual drilling we encounter these days. I started to bid it, then looked at my pile of medical related bills.
