I needed some more $$ to finish the remodel and addition to my old shack, so I traded the high grade Simson Mdl 95 drilling for a rock solid 1953 vintage Sauer 16 ga (70mm chambers) and 8X57JRS drilling with a newer 1.5-6 Zeiss in claws. It had been properly restored...re-blackened and a nitrate treatment to the receiver, and it had the wood bedded and scallop area glassed inside.

It hurt to see my dream drilling go, but the extra money and a nice drilling salve the wound.

Nice drilling, now you have nice digs and don't have to resort to a pump shotgun with a slug barrel.
