Can anyone from NZ tell me if there is a good book store in Queenstown, NZ? We will be traveling to Queenstown, NZ late June 2016 to hunt Tahr and Red Stag. I am looking for a copy of New Zealands Mountain Monarchs, a book about Himalayan Tahr. If no book stores, where could I possibly find a copy during our visit? MTG

You would be safer trying a bookstore in Auckland or Christchurch.

Not a Kiwi, but have been to Queenstown. There was a decent bookstore there, but that was about 10 years ago. To be assured of a copy, probably should get it online.

Queenstown was the home of any crazy thing that appealed to adrenaline junkies....bungee jumping out of a helicopter was one example. Fun place.

Currently in NZ on vacation. I will keep my eyes open an let let you know what I come across.

The bookstore in the Queenstown Airport has four copies in stock.
