It's clear to me now why a "ranch" or "cattle" operation would need to cover a couple million acres. I grew up thinking one per acre was normal, an acre there wouldn't feed much.

How long to round up? or is there even a reason to? Put out some sweet feed and whistle & they come running?

yeah you still round them up for marking , to sort and sell as per every other farm. We trap them on dams if we can and use helicopters a lot as well

Looks like much of the southwestern US.

That's what I was thinking. Looks just like Nevada, only we have lots of bare mountains.

out in the country away from the coast down by Adelaide reminded me alot of eastern Colorado for some reason.
