Posted this elsewhere but thought I would try here. I trained with a kiwi c-130 crew, and they got me wanting to try for a red stag. Any information would be appreciated.

Went down to the South Island last August for a family holiday and was able to sneak in some stag and ram hunting with Mark Allison of Dunedin Trophy Hunting

Mark was great to hunt with. He knows the area well and had no issues put me me on quality animals. Borrowed his Tikka T3 in 300WSM with a Leupold and a can for the hunt. Can't say enough good things about the guy! Good people and very good rates!

Took an awesome stag and ram and plan on returning to hunt with him again for Tahr and Chamois.

Took delivery of the trophies recently and his taxidermist did nice work at a good rate as well.

That stag is IMPRESSIVE!!!!

I hunted with Doctari Safari's with Steve Dougherty years ago and had a blast!!

Huge farms, great folks. Only had one day to hunt while on vacation on the south island but scored a great turkey, some pigs and fantastic wingshooting.
