They paid 25 cents a head bounty for every gopher they were shown.
That was real money to a kid back "When a buck was a BUCK".

Well worth the limited efforts it took to catch one and the were not fixing leaks in the fields and ditches!

They wear out gopher baiters around here, a pull behind trencher that delivers poison grain underground.

Weasels are cool unless you have something it wants.
Ive had them sit on my boots while calling coyotes, and even under my chair to avoid dogs. pretty entertaining.
