I'm not just interested in the 8N though. I find almost any old tractor interesting.

I still use my John Deere Model M that my grand father bought new in 1947. I will look for some pics.

I have a late 1952 8N that will be my Grandson's. It needs an engine rebuild, new clutch, brakes, tie rod ends, and hydraulic pump rebuilt. Other than that, it is perfect.

New Holland

Case and New Holland roll out of the same factories now.

They are both made by CNH. (Case/New Holland)

Yes, but in this case the blue tractor posted is marketed by New Holland.

Yep. Just a matter of whether they are red or blue.

Cheaper than Green...

I wasn't aware that New Holland and Case came off the same production line. Yep, John Deere tractors are pricey, but I like the other green one - Oliver, but they seem to be fairly rare.

Ford 801 Powermaster here. Needs a major engine overhaul, a new radiator, a new exhaust system and the front end completely rebuilt, but otherwise it's great.

I think the carburetor is being held together with bailing wire.

A buddy of mine bought a Kubota several years ago - I think it's an M series. Great tractor and very reliable.

It is indeed earning it's keep! AS you mentioned early on, I use it for aaaaalllll kinds of projects. The fence had to take a back seat to other projects for couple of months, but it's back on full-bore, now.

That's what happened to me.

Ended up fencing in hot, humid weather.

Got a set of working pens planned now once cooler weather gets here... Can't wait to wake up one morning, go outside to pee, and see steam from my breath..

41 hp. 4110 model.
I almost bought the 62 hp 2wd model but it wouldn't fit in the garage and my truck and trailer wouldn't be enough to haul it around. The bushhog weighs 1100lbs so I have to drop the bucket to haul it This one only fits in the garage because of the fold down rops.

That's a good looking tractor. Let us know how she performs.

Takes big brass ones to haul a Tractor like that with 1" tie downs....

and a come-a-long over the bucket. The atv straps were to keep the SP off my case.

Taking a break?.... The knothead was snoozing away in the drivers seat the whole time I was slaving my azz off digging flood-packed tumbleweeeds outta the watergap. It finally dried out enuff to get that nasty chore done. But the pup IS a good supervisor.

Boy, that looks like a whole bunch of fun. Pretty wise dog stayin' in the shade.

Bought 117 acres last year that is literally loaded with whitetails, turkeys, bear, elk and mule deer. The first picture is of the trailer I put on the property to stay in when we go over to work and play. Some of the property in the background.

Needed to get something to use on the place without breaking the bank. Found a nice original 1955 Ford 640 tractor (31-33 hp)with a pretty beefy Rhino brushhog. It also has power steering which is fairly uncommon on these old Fords.

I then I watched craigslist and picked up several implements that would be of use. In addition top whats shown in the pictures I also snagged a practically new Woods post hole auger and three bits.

Planned use primarily small food plots, road/gravel leveling. fence posts, etc.
