Has the wind been blowing that much around to coat the ground like that?

No higher than 20 mph breeze since we started filling this silo. Don't take much to scatter the plant material.

What are you ensilng?

Not clearing a packed pipe.
As someone who doesn't like heights, I was never fond of thge outside ladders.

Do you use an unloader and mechanized feed system?

I was up there to check on the silo blower door.

Yes, use unloaders and feed out with silage trailers and TMR mixer. No silage fork and wheelbarrow feed out on the farms. LOL
