Will be fishing these lakes next week on family vacation. Happy to catch anything, and like to eat panfish and pike.

Any tips for these lakes this time of year? I am a fairly experienced angler for panfish and a little with pike...mostly bobbers or casting for pike.
Looking for specific spots or baits...and want the kids to have fun too.

Don't forget the Walleye in there....they love Leeches!

ive been catching walleye on our lake with a small round float(maybe around 8 to 10mm) and a #4 colored hook and a leech.....caught them on all different colored hooks and floats but it seems a glow in the dark orange float and an orange hook gave best results......also had a 15 pound plus northern take this rig when fished 4 or 5 foot behind a bottom bouncer trolled slow to medium.....would assume the same rig would work attached to a small weight and fished from shore......
