Ended up seeing 16 fish Saturday. With 3 or 4 being darn good fish. 4 caught, 4 lost batting 500. I was able to catch this shorty.

Dude. He smoked a bucktail as soon as hit the water. I swear the blade wasn't even spinning yet. He fought like a 40" fish. Strong.

Thanks guys. When the cave is on you can really put up some good numbers. I really like those days when they are hitting more than following...which isn't nearly often enough

I have never caught a pike. They don't do well this far south. They are on my bucket list and Ky isn't to far so maybe I can get on them one of these days. Until then thanks or the pics.
Nice fish!!!!

No pike in ky....these are Muskies

And you have them in Tennessee. Melton hill reservoir, Collins River off the top of my head. Probably more

O my bad, I shoulda known by the size and color. I knew we had some musky but I havent been after them yet. The Nolachucky River has some but access to the river is limited in the places the muskies hang. Melto Hill has gotten a lot of publicity after Larry Dahlberg smoked'em on tv. I hear that pike bite more readily than muskies and I like catchin numbers.

Don't buy into the pressure thing. Cave run has been around since the 70s. Numerous guides in that lake, it kicks off the pmtt every year and was home to crash mullins' TV show. And it's still easy to catch fish
