Hello all.

Looking for recommendations for a nice fly in fishing place, probably in Canada. It will be my wife and I going, so I would like to find a place with a nice lodge with good fishing. I am partial to smallmouth fishing, or brook trout fishing, but a great place that only has walleye and northern would also work.

Would like to hear of others experiences, especially if recent.

Never fished Canada but if you want to come further north Lake Clark Alaska has big northerns, lake trout, grayling, dolly varden, monster rainbows, lots of different kinds of salmon and great scenery. Lake Illiamna, Stephan lake, and I'm sure a host of others also have good lodges and great fishing. Tons of good lodges and tons of great fishing but you won't catch any walleye.
