Last trip to the foothills, next week the high country opens.

It’s hard to take good fishing selfies while steering the boat and trying to release the fish un harmed.
Boated 15 Bows between 12 and 17 inches, then the wind kicked up and chased me off the lake.

Good photos as usual, Mammoth Pool again?

Yup.
The Dinky gate opens next weekend.
I figure the week after that for Courtright.
Still a lot of snow up high, probably a few more weeks for Kaiser pass.

Trolling, one on a lure, the rest on blades.

I do a lot of solo fishing, mostly kayak and I really identify with your photos.

Storms in the high country keep me fishing lower today.
No trout, but the squaw fish were biting.
