I’m liking the blackwater panfishfishing. Found a dozen of these taxonomy busting chunkers (plus one sow of a 16” largemouth) all on about a ¼ mile stretch. Got lost on the way to work smile

Looks like Virginia where I used to fish on a river that empties into the Potomac

The sunfish sure do put up a fight

Ditto on the beetle spins though here a different color soft bait works best.Never tried the black before, will have to see if I even have one other than a curly tail

These are the nicest colors I've seen. My picture taking doesn't do them justice. They're bright as parrots.

Black beetlespin is first thing I cast in any S.E. creek/river. Used to use them on smallies up the New River in VA and Elkhorn Creek in Ky and.... Don't use em much in still water though.
