Looking for a little advice and direction on spin fishing for trout in the mountains in October. Planning on tent camping. Looking at areas above Helen Georgia and around Bryson City NC. Thx

Went to that area last summer , me and the GF stayed in a cabin in Bryson City . Fished the Cherokee Tribal waters which are about 15 min away. There are quite a few camping spots in the area . As far as the fishing Cherokee has some of the best fishing in that area. $10 per day permit with a 10 fish limit. They also put some really nice fish in . Lots of info online about the fishing in the area.
