Btw 5 gr of bullseye and cci primers does very well in my Smith and Wesson model 10 and 15

Troutnut, thank you sir! I’ve not bought a Hornady manual in a long time and jumped on some 125 xtp to experiment with. Additionally, I’ve been wanting to add Power Pistol to my powder inventory.

With that said, I don't think you'll be able to get enough velocity from a pistol to reliably expand XTPs in 38 Spl.
