Anybody ever try it in salt water? Can't see why it wouldn't work, it's bloody, oily and stinky
Have access to as much as I want and want to see how it works
For crab bait it's fantastic and free!
Also for sharks it's good and tough enough to cast far.
Great advice already. Can also try ginding or mushing and then mix with oatmeal or rolled oats, menhaden oil, bit of water and freeze it in blocks or in 1 gal milk containers with tops cut off. Old recipe and carp would take the place of cannned jack mackerel.
Have used it for crab bait in the PNW.
No reason why it should not work for cut bait.
