Not exactly the way I asked for it to be mounted, but it's been a year and a half so just gonna go with it. I like it, but wanted it set-up to set in my bookcase.

If I remember right, it was about 25.5". Not a monster, just a good looking fish.

Cool looking red. That size and maybe up to 30-32 are the best eating. Usually no worms and decent size filets.

I'm with Dan. Mounts aren't cheap and I'd want what I want. He must be in high demand to take a year and a half. My guess is he probably forgot how you requested it over that time.

Still looks good, though. I would not think reds are easy to make the colors right from their pinkish belly to gold shoulders.
