Looking for pictures of the old San Luis Pass fishing pier that was a popular fishing spot just west of Galveston Island. This pier was damaged during hurricane Rita, partially rebuilt, then destroyed by Ike.
I lived in Kingwood Texas for 18 years and used to fish from the pier fairly often. When the wind was out of the SE and the green water pushed in you could hammer the trout off that pier!! Elk
Gary, I fished that pier a lot in the early 70's. Back them people didn't always have a camera with them like today. Fished mainly at night under the iights for trout. Hasbeen
I caught a couple of 20+ redfish off of it while my mom was at MD Anderson. Sorry to hear it is gone.
