I assume rigging it up for photos greatly enhances it's quality. I'd have that thing bled out and buried beneath a foot of ice.

Two different populations one breeds in the Gulf of Mexico the other in the Meditteranean, there are less of them in the Gulf then anywhere else. Nice big fish they should have cut its gills out to bleed it and packed it in ice like 1 minute said when it was first caught.

Yep, we do have a small population of them down here. Had another 800lb class BFT brought in this week.

Had one about 10 years ago brought into LA that went 1152lbs IIRC. I'll see if I can find a link for that one.
