That load will present zero issues... unless double charged of course...but you
are a guy I know, who knows what he is doing...

its the guys who think they can turn their rounds into some sort of super magnum with Blue Dot...
that worry me... believe me, I've gotten enough PMs on the subject...

like one recent one... "Can I expect 3300 fps, with a 75 grain HP out of a 223, in my AR?"

yeah, for one shot.....then get a face lift and a new AR....

I just need 2600 fps or so if that. I may worknow up a bit if accuracy isn't there but
this rifle seems to shoot everything well. How fast is 16 grains of blue dot getting?

Well I finally got around to testing Blue Dot in my 22-250. I was going to use some bulk 60 gr. Hornady HP's I had but decided to try the Speer 45 gr. sp. I started with 16 grains and magnum CCI primers since that seemed to be the right thing to do. Accuracy was usable a bit over an inch. I thought maybe a standard primer might be a better choice and loaded up with the CCI 200. Now if it's not windy 3 in a hole is possible. I have found my new egg shoot load, can't wait for Easter!
