So how did it do at 1000 yards? Curious about stock and barrel contour as well if you don't mind. Beautiful rifle.

What does she weigh? That stock on soemthing like a Rem light Tactical would be perfect for a 6x47Lapua or a 6mm-250AI. Very, very cool semi-tac.

Also wondering what twist you have and what bullets your shooting for both target and pigs?
Nice looking gun. I have a couple of 6BR's and they are fun.

Rifle weighs a tad over ten lbs. all geared up. Used the Rem Varmint contour with a 1-12 twist 24" Douglas. Used the 87 V-Max on the pig and to stretch out to 1000. I was pleased with the results at 600-1000 yds with the lighter bullet. Not as much wind drift as I thought I might get. I also have played with the 75 V-Max. Both are superbly accurate using Varget. I built this rig as a 600 yd groudhog/practice rig thus the 1-12 twist. I was trying to force myself to use the lighter bullets with this twist as we do alot of long range(1000)+ and I knew if I used the 1-8 twist I would be into the 105 grainers and going way out there. Stock is the McMillan HTG in Campfire Camo. I am a Krieger / Broughton barrel guy but Mickey nudged me in the Douglas direction and so far so good. I plan on using this often as a cheap practice rig and a way to save my 300 WM's and 300 Rum for hunting season. I really like the 6BR round for this purpose. Thinking about a 6.5 x 47 for my next build as another soft recoil rig after I finish the 338 Lapua Mag I am getting started. Thanks for the kind comments.

Takman, also wondering it is set up single shot or what you had to do to make it feed. Both of mine are set up ADL, one feeds great with no mods and the other had to have the Bryant box mod to make it feed.
I've also found the VV-135 and RL 10X powders work well with the lighter bullets.

Setup is ADL and used standard Remington box that came with the action. Feeding is fine. I am not sure if Mickey modified it but we didn't discuss doing any mods during the build. Worked with Viht N135 and got 30fps more speed but not the .2 and .3 groups I got with Varget. Groups were still good though. She is definitely a shooter. I am really enjoying this outfit.

When Mickey and I were discussing the specs he felt the 1-12 would handle up to 90 grains and he was on the money. I was whacking our steel at 900 yds.(18"x12") with ease on two seperate outings.

That looks like a fun rig that will see a lot of action. Nicely done....
