We've seen a titanium one, and TC1 shows us his pretty Mausers. Here are a few pics from Stu about the progress on my Mex Mauser:
completely reworked action, military bottom metal reshaped, Mike Rock barrel in everyones favorite 338Fed

Looks like the beginnings of a classic. That left sided safety is a very nice touch. If it works as well as an FN safety works for me I'm sure you'll be very pleased with it. Stuart does some amazing work. Do have plans in place for the stock yet?

This one is going in a Mickey (yeah I know), don't have the funds for a nice piece of English. Just starting a 1936 Mex (don't know what it will be), that one will get a nice stick of wood, but that is for next year. Stu is going to do the inletting, haven't been impressed with the last couple they did on Rem 600 actions.

Did you know every time you put a Mauser in a plastic stock God kills a kitten?

Just kidding, have fun with it!

Just got mine back from the engraver. I would encourage you to give it the "extra" touches like the hand-engraving shown.

Damn...that engraving on the barrel is classy.

Thanks. Rick Simmons in Houston, TX did the engraving.

I had him do the barrel markings, the safety and s/n by hand.

PM me if you would like his contact info.

Nice work on the action. The triggerguard looks like its from one of the small ring spanish mausers with the push button release. Are you keepin that type release .
I have the same set up but favor the inside the bow release but still can't deside. Good luck, those Mex actions can get addictive.

On this one I'm keeping it this way, doesn't bother me at all, even though the inside does look nicer. If Blackburn was reliable, I would have bought one, but who knows when you would get it
