I just read that "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy, is now a movie due out in November. It has Viggo Mortenson as the Father and Robert Duvall as the Old Man. The book was real intense and depressing. I think that it will be a hard movie to watch. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0898367/

I thought it was good, but then I'm kinda weird. All of McCarthy's books are moody and somewhat dark. This one is no different. Good read.

I like books like this, that make you think. I just think that if the director does a good job that it will be a real intense movie to watch.

I've thought this would make a great movie, if it is done right. Should be a good flick.

I read most of McCarthy's stuff, but I'm not as hot on him as most-just starved for reading material. It was an okay book. It was on Oprah's Booklist though, if that tells you anything. I don't even remember the old man.
