Anyone have any experience modding a composite stock. So far the only composite option I can find for my CZ-527 is the factory stock, now made by B&C. It' an OK stock, but I dislike the palm swells very much. I am wondering about the feasibility of grinding down and patching the stock wrist to get a thinner profile.
Thoughts?

I actually added a palm swell to a Bansner with Marine-Tex. I am guessing you could grind the B&C to where you want it, then patch with Marine-Tex. Sand smooth or texture as you wish and you would be GTG. Only issue is if the stock is solid in the wrist or shell over fill. If solid, it shouldn't be a problem. If it is shell over fill, or hollow, I wouldn't grind anything off of it for fear of compromising the strength in one of the places it needs it the most.

Thanks. As I understand it, the aluminum bedding block goes through the wrist. I'll try calling B&C to see if it's solid there.
