Got My Badgers Back

I just picked up my two badger mounts from Bob Wilkins at Wildlife Artistry Taxidermy in Cameron, TX.

I had shot badgers before as targets of opportunity, but had not called one in until last fall. I ended up calling in two within eight weeks in different counties.

I had Bob do a full body mount and a pedestal mount.

Bobcat: Congrats on the Badger harvesting and the taxidermy work is first rate.
Those creatures are very lifelike in their poses and recreations.

Looks danged good,,, I like it alot, bothe of them...
Great life like pose, even the head mount still looks alive..

Did you forget to tell them they were dead?

Hmmm add to list of wants, badger...

Looks good...the dead badger I mean.....had one come at me once...full charge...buddy shot it dead 10 feet away...

I ran one down and clobbered it with a shovel across the neck while I was working on a ranch. he got really mad when I did that. looking back it was pretty stupid to do. but I got him with the second whack $\:\)$
my buddy ran down the second one and didn't has as much luck as I did. pitchfork wasn't a good weapon.

Ha, ha, I used to hunt with a guy that killed them with shovels - he'd bail out of the truck grab a shovel, chase them till they would turn to fight and whack them over the head with a shovel. It was a heck of a show! (I watched from the truck) BTW very nice mounts.
