Guys,
How do you feel when you want something so bad but just fight the urge and let somebody else have it. I've watched this rifle for 5 months and nobody bid on it. Just when I decide to bid, somebody else is there. Where did he come from. When I got home from work last night I had 26 minutes to decide whether I wanted it or not. I let it go.
It was a NIB Remington 7600 Carbine 18 1/2" barrel in 35 Rem. Not a great rifle by any means but a very rare find and probably not many out there plus NIB. Being a 35 caliber nut, yup, I should've grabbed it 5 months ago. I'm still crying because I let it go. Would it have been accurate ? I'll never know. Maybe something else will come along and cheer me up.

I am trying hard to figure out how to pay for a Winchester model 71 with bolt peep in 348AI, dies + ammo and all, that I want REAL BAD but no luck selling my Glock G29 so far to help me out. GOT to GET this rifle!!!! Arrgggghhhhh..... I know how you feel and if I miss this one I will kick myself daily for the next 50 or so years of my life.

Call Grice Wholesale. Those rifles were their spec run. They have a thing for pump action Rem rifles.

I passed on a super vacation last summer to buy a deluxe model 71 348 Win. that looked like it just came from the factory. It was well worth it. My wife never blinked. She knew what it meant to me.

Earl, Your right ! I had plenty of time to snatch that rifle. Just think of that baby chambered in a 358. Still a hard thumper in 35 Rem.
Biglmbass, It was a Grice special run. They might have another lying around in a dark room somewhere. Maybe I'll see another one down the road.

George,
What town do you live in ? That'll give me an idea on where to shoot. I'm in Manchester.

OK, So I'll try to depress you some more. I have a 7600 Carbine 35 Remington. It is awesome!!! It has become one of my favorite rifles. It shoots Remington 200g Core-lokts and the LeveRevolution very, very well. I topped mine off with a Trijicon 1.25x4. It may only be a pump and it isn't chambered in the latest magnum caliber, but this rifle has no problem getting the job done.

15 years ago I had opportunity to purchase a Krieghoff(spelling?) drilling in 12 x 12 x 470NE for three hundred fifty dollars. It was heavy but pointed exquisitely. I was broke, and could not get together the cash. I have never even seen another, let alone had opportunity. At the time they were selling for about 5000 bucks. Oh well. Randy
