2E Any Antlered

Of course there are virtually only whitetails that far east.

Congrats! I just NOW checked the NDSG&F Site for the Deer Lottery results on-line, and I also got my 1st preference "Buck" tag (Any Antlered) North Dakota Resident Permit.

We also hunt the 2E area near where 41Keith (long time Campfire member) lived and hunted until his recent death. It's really going to be "different" this year without him.

We mostly hunt north of Devils Lake near the Starkweather N.D. area on some CRP land.

Also got my Muzzle Loader Deer Tag "Antlerless" (Statewide).
I figure I have a better chance of taking a Doe with my Black Powder Rifle.

Must be the Campfire Mojo.

2B Non Res Antlered.

Not that hard of a draw. Get pulled about every other year more or less.

Now to apply for some xtra doe tags for the freezer. Gotta love that Red River Valley Venado!

I drew doe tag for 2c, first time in 6 years that I didn't draw a buck tag for my frist pick. but since it's 2c I can go early this year in september, since they are worried about tb and what nots, in that part of the state.

I hunt 2K1, and got a resident buck tag this year. But they are getting increasingly harder to draw. Your odds in 2K1 for a buck tag were about 1 in 3-1/2 for last year. I think I am going to go strictly gratis from now on.
