Does anyone have any pics of Swirlys that have a lot of medium or dark tan in them? I'd like to see them to get a better idea of what the color actually looks like - those little color boxes on McM's website should be pics of finished stocks. Thanks

That portion of their site could use a little work.

I wish that they had an interactive color thing where you could choose which colors you wanted and see what they might look like on a blank stock. You just select a color and stock pattern (swirly, flame, or camo) and click to where it would go.

Search "Desert Camo" and look at pics. I asked McMillan about the tans just a few weeks ago and they said that the Desert scheme is light, medium, and dark tan. I've got something tan-ish coming from them, but it will likely be another 4-5 months before it gets here.

I ordered a dark-tan/med-tan/olive (34%/33%/33%) A5. It won't be here until September however.

Anything good is worth waiting for. I had to wait 6 months to marry my wife after proposal, an imposition by my mother-in-law. It was almost more than I could bear. But, it was definitely worth the wait.
