Being the curious cat that I am how about a .20-.22-250 wildcat?
In other words, neck down a .22-250 to .20 caliber. How bout it? Would it fly? Just speculating.

Makes sense to me. I did this AM Google .20-.22-250 to see what was out there and there was nothing. Must be others came to the same conclusion.

people have done it but you might as well go with a 204 its pretty much maxed out for the bullet. what do you want it for? I would probably make a 20-250 if they came out with a 50gr 20cal bullet. you would have to have a fast twist though.

Greg of Gre-Tan Rifles, has 20-250,20-250AI, and 20-223WSSM reamers listed. Someone must of BT'DT, not that those over bore worm holes would interest me. The 20 Tac or PPC on the otherhand......

Don't want it for anything, just discussion. It's interesting to Google and see what comes up for wildcats, didn't see anything for this. Never thought to Google .20-250, might have to do that and see what comes up. I'm always interested to see everyone's better idea. Most fall by the wayside but occasionally some become the standard by which all others are judged.

I'm putting together a 20 BR right now and waiting on the Pac-Nor barrel. Should be able to get 4100 - 4200 out of the 40 grain bullets. It's based off the 6mm BR case from Lapua.

that could make a 20-250 a pretty cool gun. I think someone better make it.

The Berger 50 has a pretty measly B.C., .296 I believe, barely higher than the 39 gr. Sierra and 40 gr. Hornady. I'd question the splat factor as well on vermin.. Going long I'll stay in the 22-250/AI and 75 grain A-max camp. To me 20's are about speed and I think the Berger 50 would give too much up with not enough additional BC to offer for the trade off.
