In short, Venus ain't dainty. She's a jock, and a dang good one. Those two gals have taken on the best of the best and left them in the dirt. They're the best America's got and the world has to look up to them.

Dude, what is the point. I'm pretty sure the 100th ranked male could dominate women's tennis if he tried. Two men playing a woman's game. They are expected to dominate.

They've drawn the ire of more than one opposing tennis player with their "in your face" style. I say more power to 'em. I'm not a huge tennis fan-wouldn't sit and watch a match on TV regularly, but to see these two women play is something else. I like their aggressive, take no prisoner styles. I've got a daughter who plays fastpitch, and to a much smaller degree shows their attributes. If a girl leans out over the plate too far, my daughter's likely to buzz a fastball right up under her chin. That's her territory, and no one is permitted to invade it without repercussions. I just like seeing confident female atheletes that aren't afraid to use their aggression as a valuable tool.

Maybe it's just you, and maybe it's not — not my call.
As for me, I've never looked for feminine beauty on a tennis court. There's plenty in other places.
Almost jumped up out of my chair yesterday when an unexpected new one — new to me — appeared on Fox — Mona Rivera. I could watch her play tennis — or read the NYC 'phone book — by the hour. Stunning!

If it wasn't for the William's sisters, women's tennis wouldn't even be on a radar screen as far as true talent and athleticism is concerned.
