Fly fishing @ Lee's Ferry info ????????

I will be in Arizona From August 1-8th. I am looking to do some fly fishing at Lee's Ferry. How is the fly fishing this time of year? Will I be wasting $400 on a guide or will it be worth it this time of year? Does anyone know any good guide services. I am Looking at booking a trip with Marble Canyon Outfitters. Has anyone heard anything good or bad about them?? How much for a non resident license? The info on the Arizona Game and fish site was a little confusing. Not sure if I needed trout stamps or not? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!
