I can think of a great TV add. The one where a guy and his gurl are watching TV and she has it tuned to a show that depicts a young couple at the rail of a passenger ship in the moonlight kissing. The guy couldn't be less thrilled. It cuts to a U-Boat commander at his periscope lining up a torpedo shot...the guy perks RIGHT UP. Cut back to couple, the gurl is all happy, guy bummed out. Cut back to sub..torpedo launched. Guy is ecstatic Cut back to ship couple smooching, gurl happy. Torpedo hits and blows up Luv Boat, guy stands up, YYESSSSSS!! I LOVE that commercial

You'd have to go back in time to find any I'd watch. And then they aren't so much "chick flicks" as they are classic romance movies; "Roman Holiday" comes to mind...

I've always been too dense to figure out if a flick is chick or not.

Penny and I really liked While You Were Sleeping and Notting Hill.

And I recently went to see PS - I Love You with her, but that was just to put her in my debt so that we could go see...oh, I forget. Some guy flick.

Edit: Correction. I am informed by my lovely bride that Notting Hill was never one of her favorites: she's not a Julia Roberts fan.

She prefers Six Days, Seven Nights. I must admit that I'm not really an Ann Heche fan. On the other hand I'm very much an Angelique fan--or Angelica, or whatever her name was. I'll always remember that delightfully-accented "Are you sure?" line with the little quiver.

Another edit: Here it is: video

Right now I guess the one I like the best is "Mists of Avalon". It's about Pagan Celtic women and seeing as how I'm married to a Pagan Celtic women I guess that explains it. And before you ask no my wife did not make me watch I did so on my own I even picked it out. So there!!!!! \:\)

Long live us Pagans!!!!

I also liked "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants." Click here to see the trailer. I know, I know... I'm sure none of you guys has seen it. \:D

Don't know if I'd call this a "chick flick" or not, but Barak and I both love "The Princess Bride."
