Yep we got some lightning and rain. The wind was blowing pretty good as well. We needed it and it didn't last long.

Glad you kept it patriotic. Cool setup in a cool caliber. Should have let the youngster touch that one off.
SKane,
That offer was made and rejected He didn't want any part of the 338-06,300WM or 450 Marlin.

Nice rifle. Try the 180 gr Noslers or 185 Barnes X for a great deer/bear rifle. A nice charge of 4895 works well. I also shoot the 210 Nosler Partition which are used for Caribou/Moose
Nice looking gun

I regret selling that one. Here is a few loads I used to shoot in it back when it was in the factory tupperware.
Yup, I should have kept it but it looks like it went to a good home.

Nope! The 338-06 will never expand them bullets at those speeds. All 338 bullets are factory trained to hold together and zip right on through unless propelled by at least 100gr of powder. If it don't say MAGNUM on its butt the bullet just can't kill nuttin.

BB,
Thanks for the loads and thanks again for selling me the rifle. I just pulled my M77 SS RSI in 257Bob and put it in the tupperware stock for hunting purposes.
