Great video! The P-47 was the best ground attack plane of WW2. The radial engine could sustain direct hits and still bring the plane home - if a P-51 Mustang's radiator was it, the plane was lost. I heard once that more P-51 pilots were lost to radiator damage than were lost in aerial combat!
Yep, there would be a quite a few more USAF guys around if they had kept it and used it Korea instead of the P-51 for ground attack.
