Did not do smacknallys except for a snack. Really liked Jasons, especially his specials ie: red drum, oysters, fresh bluefish. Howards is just so crowded anymore and the quality seems to have gone down hill.

Agreed, it was the place to eat years ago. The last couple of times I have been disappointed. Jasons is great though, will be back to Ocracoke in November, have a conference at NCCAT. Will try to hook up with a big red drum if this beach access mess is worked out.
