The Road to Serfdom is a book written by Friedrich Hayek(recipient of the Nobel Prize in Economics in 1974) and originally published by Routledge Press in March 1944 in the UK and then by the University of Chicago in September 1944.

Hayek HATED central planning and is one of the great economists who championed truly free markets. Though dated, The Road to Serfdom is a layman's level study of why government control of the economy is bad.

Here is the free Reader's Digest version in pdf.

Yep. Every person who believes in Rights, freedom, liberty, and the U.S. Constitution, should have a well read copy of "The Road To Serfdom," by F. Hayek.

Here's another every person should read closely to understnd just what has happened to freedom in this country and how we slowly got where we are today.

"LIBERAL FASCISM, The Secret History of the American Left, from MUSSOLINI, to the Politics of Meaning," by Jonah Goldberg, Doubleday Pub., (c)2007.

Truly amazing how "We the Frogs" have been slowly boiled.

Can 435 represent 300,000,000? Or does that lead to rule by elites and powerful special interests?
