Hartmut,

Do the latest data files include the .243 Barnes 62 grain Varmint Grenades?

The version I have (barnes.bul dated 18/03/2008) doesn't include it.

Kev.

I have no idea for an answer to your question but I do have a comment on Barnes Grenades; They are truly BOMBS!

I just walked in from the range after trying the Barnes 36 gr bullets in my .22-250. Don't have book info on loading for it so I went on my own with Varget and got 4,400 fps without any indications of pressure. Surprise is they shot better as charges with up, ended getting less than half inch. That's about as good as I get with the best of any heavier bullets and at a LOT higher speed! Local ground hogs and crows gonna hate those things!

Actually, I haven't gotten around to analyzing the targets and chrono data yet, I may back down a bit for accuracy but not by much. Barnes has given us a winner with those things.

Hope yours does well too!
