I am pricing these low for a quick sale. Leica Trinovids 8x42 BA, comes with what you see. These Trinovids are crystal clear and bright, amazing sharp and vivid view. Glass is pristine as far as I can see; the body has some handling marks. The left objective bell has a ding, glass or function are not effected in any way but its there, and if it bothers you Leica can replace the little lock ring that’s out of round, the glass is not chipped or anything. I tried to capture it in one of the photos. These are listed at $1395 Retail so this is a screaming deal for someone who will use them instead of sticking them in a safe. They will come with warranty card (Lifetime Passport Warranty ) that’s NOT filled. The optical quality is really unmatched; the only binoculars that are in the same league are the $2000 ultravids IMO. $600 + $25 shipping.

These did not, do not, come with the Lifetime Passport Warranty.
The Warranty card in the picture, and the one that arrived, is for the Certified Pre-Owned Used 1-year limited warranty.
The box, not shown, has the top cut off, thus the UPC, etc., is not there.
A PM has been sent to loongshot to see wtf......
But, it is clear that what was advertised was not what was sold.

FWIW.....Leica's warranty is non-transferable and they require a dated sales receipt and the warranty card be sent in within 10 days of original purchase, so my guess is, you'd be without a warranty any way you look at it.
Having said that, you also have to consider the fact $600.00 Leica 8x42's don't grow on trees, warrantied or not....

I bought what he advertised as Leica Trinovids with a full Lifetime Passport Warranty.
What showed up was a set of Leica Trinovids, certified Pre-Owned, with a one-year warranty.
I expressed my displeasure, he said send them back.....
BUT, he will NOT refund the money until the goods arrive.
He expressly admitted that he knew he sold something different than what he advertised, and took my money prior to shipment, but refuses to refund the money prior to me shipping the goods back.
VERY poor business practices, and VERY unethical and untrustworthy.
BTW - for point of reference, he says that his business is legit, but that CameralandNY is a scam and doesn't actually ship anything out.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GUY!
