What case do you guys recommend? I've got one of these cases LINK . Do you guys think my rifle would survive the trip?

One word.......Pelican!
They make amazing cases, and you cut the innard foam to fit. They aren't cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for!!

I'd definately upgrade Dan.
My 150$ hard case took an absolute beating from the 2 roundtrip plane rides it took last year...
Not sure what to upgrade to but I'd do it...
On a sidenote, if you want a no hassle flight with gun, etc. slam dunk go Southwest even if the ticket is more.

Bought dad a stainless-steel case, I think it was Montana Rifle Case company, for around $150 for our trip to Africa.
You could tell it had taken a beating between the 18-hour flight over, and the 2 hour hop into Zim, but it held up fantastically and honestly most of the beating could probably be cleaned up with some stainless steel cleaner.
Well worth the price. Not very heavy despite being stainless.

I second vote for the SKB case. I have a double case... Its been to Africa twice, and 14-15 domestic flights on hunts over the last 6 years. No problems with it at all. The Pelican cases are nice too, but their heavy, with two rifles you're darn near over the weight limit. 2 rifles in my SKB is right around 35-38 pounds depending on rifles.
The one you have linked... I'm not sure its airline approved anylonger, check the TSA website for definition. I sure wouldn't risk flying with one. I have one similar that I take to the range, or on hunting trips where the rifle must go in the back of the truck, and it wouldnt' take much to break into it, I think you could dang near cut into it with a knife.
IMO the best 'cheap' case you can buy is the single SKB case. I think they're about $100 or so. I bought one for my dad, and he hasn't had any problems with it at all.
The thing I don't like about the solid metal cases, is if they get bent, or 'dingged' they'll hold that shape, and that could result in a bad rub spot on a stock, or worse. The plastic cases don't bend/ding and bounce back.
My buddy had a solid alum bow case, that got damaged, and it wrecked his bow inside it. I have an SKB bow case thats been on a few domestic flights and to Africa... and its been just as great as the rifle case.
Sorry to sounds like salesmen, I'm sure just about any solidly built case will work.

Haveing used most of them (comped to me) the one I liked best and kept is the Tuff-Case..I bought that one, and its been to Africa about 50 times and to other countries many times, not counting all over the USA..Other than some scratches it looks the same as always...I put two or three cased guns in it and pack around them with jackets, boots, binocs and whatever..Going through Customs I just take off the top, pull the gun out to the serial number, read it off and drop it back in...Very convient and doesn't display your guns to the whole world..It is also indestructable by airline attendents, and those guys can screw up an anvil with a powder puff!! 
No hinges to break, no rods to bend, wheels are covered, they just can't figure out how to destroy it...

These days, with the extra fees on each piece of luggage, I have gone to a large case which holds my rifle or shotgun in a soft case inside the larger case, which holds all my clothes, boots, and ammunition in a separate, small, locking case. The first one I built from an ATA 300 rated rolling golf bag case, but now am designing one, unless I find an Americase or Tuff-Case deal.
Other ways I have traveled include a rolling soft duffel with a slim, locking hard shell gun case in the bottom, and just a large locking rolling suitcase by Samsonite, with my Sauer rifle taken down and packed in a zipper SKB case made for a shotgun.
And I usually remove the scopes from the rifles and pack them separately.

Southwest does not charge a fee for the gun case unless you have 2 other large bags.

I'd be using a top line hard golf club case.... camo and tough.... Though I rarely fly if I can avoid it. But have to for AK trips, luckily I borrow rifles when up there, less hassle.

I vote for the SKB..mine's the double one..believe me, it can take just about anything and is easy to wheel around in airports.

Another vote for the Pelican. Watertight & as tough as they come. Mine has been on many commercial flight to Africa, Europe, Canada, & most Western States without a problem.

I've seen a storm case broken into with a simple pocket knife, in less than 2 minutes. The tabs for the locks are made of plastic, easy to cut. Another guy in our outfit lost the keys. With no bolt cutters in camp, the outfitter simply cut the locking tabs off. They need to add metal tabs to them like the Pelican case. Wouldn't say doesn't hold a candle but like it better overall than Pelican.
