Saw a new Challanger on my way home from work yesterday.
Sharp looking car. Even for a Dodge. Much nicer looking than the Chargers. Two doors and all. The one I saw was dark blue, I did't care for that, not on that car anyway. A car like that needs to be yellow, bright green, purple, something a little wild.
I'd like to go test drive one. I just might.

One of our vendors has one it's orange. It is the SRT he had the super charger added and it now pumps out 600hp. Dodge did an excellent job on the retro design on this car.

Theres a few of 'em running around town. One thats Hemi orange very bad azz looking. The black one around here is wicked looking as well. However The blue one that the big titted blonde drives around town is still my favorite, not sure if its due to the car though

I test drove the six-cylinder one a few weeks ago. It was OK performance-wise but I think I would hold out for the RT model with the 5.7L, which has not hit our area yet. It's such a heavy car it needs the extra HP that the 8 puts out.
There was one SRT from last year, but it was in the showroom, with a price $10k above the MSRP.
I haven't seen any on the streets yet; I think due to the economy most of the car dealers in my area have turned into year-round car shows.

I saw the first "non-dealer-owned" one in my area tonight. It's in the neighborhood where my sister and her husband live. It was also Hemi orange.
I agree that it's the best of the re-designed old cars so far.
Would still love to see a Cadillac with real fins, I've always been a Caddy/GM guy.

A friend of my daughter has one, a black RT. It is "kool kool" in a big way! I had a 72' back in the day with a 340, six pack, four speed, headers, large bright chrome Crager wheels, it was a real head turner as it rumbled by. You knew that car had muscle just by listening to it pulse and throb as it idled by. And it would run! I am giving my daughter crap because she recently traded her Charger on a new Mustang GT. I told her she should have waited for the Challenger! She's pretty happy with her 'Stang though.

True for the 2008 1/2 production (which is actaully a 2009 model). The first run were only available in silver, black, or orange. They were all SRT8, automatic, and were numbered in series of production. However, the 2009 model, which is available now, come in SE, RT, and SRT8 trim lines. The colors are much broader and include blue and red. Look for special series- like the Daytona edition Chargers- to become available later in the model year in limited run colors like purple, yellow, and such. Another nice thing is now the Challenger is available in a manual transmission with the retro pistol grip shifter.

I think I said before, if I didn't, I'm pretty sure the blue one was a highway patrol car. I never saw a puple one, just thought it would be cool.
Defenitaly saw a blue one though. It had flat blac on the hood and flat black stripes. twas a good looking car, whether it was supposed to be blue or not.
