I saw a 450/400 at a local store that could be had for $1500. Nice shape except for a little movement between buttstock and action that needed attention. It sold online. Don't know what it went for. $1500 was the starting bid but nobody was bidding at the time so the guy said I could have it for that. It was beautiful, and tempting, but they all are, and I just can't afford to buy every rifle that tickles my fancy.
