I was wondering if anyone had any imfo on Ingram barrels made for TC contenders and what would one cost. I was looking at a .41 Mag looks to be 15" with some very nice target sites and a well made walnut forend. Thanks in advance for imfo.

You might want to post this message over at specialty pistols. Those guys know everything about TCs. That's where I go for information.

When I got my first Contender in 1970, David L. Ingram started making barrels around that same time. He was into duplex and triplex loads for his .440 Ingram, which I have a barrel in. I only loaded a box of the duplex loads and maybe 20 triplex loads. They were very powerful loads, as I recall they bruised my hand. The only thing I can say is they had little or no muzzle flash. The 2 grains of bullseye on top of the powder took care of that. It was so much more recoil than the Herretts the snap on forend would fly off the gun and fly 35 or 40 feet. I have only seen a handful of his barrels, but they were all high quality. Good shooting! Marcus.
