Don't know the specs on the AI's leade so can't give any info there. but....with the AI'd chamber and a fast twist, what are the thoughts on using 5.56 in a .223AI? How will pressure be effected by the AI'd chamber?
Just curious. I don't have any 5.56 and I'm not considering shooting any.
Thanks,
JCM

Shooting 5.56 in a .223 chamber isn't catastrophic, so I am sure with the extra space for the case to expand into it would be just fine.

Thanks for the reply. I thought the extra chamber space would reduce pressure somewhat and wanted to hear other's thoughts.
I'm sure several variables would make a difference such as brass thickness, how tight the AI'd chamber is, the leade, bullet and how it is seated, etc..... Just a curiosity question.
Thanks again,
JCM
