Hello:

Does anyone know a reliable source for 303 Savage? Just purchased a very nice-clean 1899B in 303. Thank you.

Best is to buy Norma from midwayusa or other source and load your own. Anything else is rather expensive...

You can pick up factory or reloads off of the auction sites if you don't reload.

If you don't reload, for about 2 dollars per shell Buffalo Arms out of N. Idaho sells 303 Sav rounds but they are resized 30-40 Krag brass. Accurate in my gun, but you have to be careful about them if you also have a gun that shoots real 30-40 Krag rounds.

I have the name of a gentleman who sells 303 Savage ammo, as well as 169 other calibers. Charges around $36 per box for the 303 Savage I think. I got 5 boxes of his 32-40 cast bullet ammo with an 1899 I bought and tracked him down. Very happy with the 32-40 ammo, though I haven't tried his other stuff. He'll also load 22HP, 250 Savage in 100gr or 87gr Rem. Power Point, 32-40, 38-55, 25-35, etc.

Steve's handloads. He has them done for him as I recall. $36.50 + shipping.
