How much is my savage worth??

Hello everyone I am new here and was directed here by a friend because he says this is where the knowledge is!! I have a model 1895 savage take down stock in a 250-3000. It is about 80-85%. What would this gun be worth?? I appreciate any info!!

Well...welcome to the campfire.
Your description is totally incoherent - there is no 1895 in .250-3000
Give us some details and the SN range and maybe we can help.

Sorry my bad. It says model 1899 and .250-3000 right on the barrel. Serial no. 174xxx. Thanks again.

That's a Savage 1899, model 250-3000. The value will vary greatly depending on the condition.. 80-85% to you might be different than to a Savage collector. Pictures would tell more.
At a guess, somewhere between $500 and $1500.
