No longer with JB, now it's with "Your favorite Wolfe Publishing writer."

Well Mr. Scovill!

I've made John H mad talking about his .35 Whelen piece.

Venturino would likely die of a heart attack walking up the mtn.

Pierce won't use a computer and that's just wierd.

Shoemaker probably wouldn't leave Alaska for a puny old elk.

I guess I'd find some obscure dude that wrote one article on the benefits of fricken 1.25 oz loads versus 1.0 oz loads in a .12ga fifteen yrs ago because he probably can't afford a decent elk hunt either and take him just to twist one off in Scovill

Unless Mrs. Mule Deer is still in the running, she uses a .270 and that rates her very high in my book!

Be pretty cool to hunt with Mule Deer or Dogzapper.

You could probably coax him to go if you promised him biscuits and gravy every morning.

I have a friend who lives in Missoula and often encounters John H and Ron Spomer at the range he uses. He tells me they are solid folks.

Not to get too excited, but I would worry about the who after actually winning the contest for the hunt. Odds on that are not good, and who knows if they ever come to pass?

I am sure my entry will beat yours. ;\)

my leg is shot, and my Heart is shot so I would chose Venturino.
I figure that way the elk would be delivered to us in camp in sandwich form.

It would be even better if we hunted with both. ;\)

Choose wisely guys.

if it were me I would choose Brian - but there is not one who I, nor anyone else, could not learn something from.

I agree, Brian Pierce would be my first choice, after JB.

I'd vote for Ms. Mule Deer. Wonder if her hubby would come along for giggles (though they would have to Photo Shop him out of the pix).
