how do you get QL to show you a powder burning range for a given load.
as in what powders would be good.

I asked the same question awhile back and the general consensus was everybody used a reloading manual and got a powder burning range from the manual and applied it to Quickload.

Work up a load, then press the 7th button from the right on the top-most window (propellant table setup). It has a 1, 2, 3 picture on it. Look at the choices that window affords you and see if you find what you're looking for. You can't exactly ask it to give you a "powder burning range" (I'm making some assumptions as to what you mean by that), but the window I told you to open, and then the table it will create for you when you "Apply & Exit" will provide you the information you need to come up with "what powders would be good" besides the one you already worked up the load with.
