I ordered a trigger spring kit and some Weaver mount adaptors from him for $52 total. After weeks of nothing, I finally filed a claim with PayPal, and he sent me just the trigger kit - $15 worth of my $52 order. That was more than 3 weeks ago - nothing since. No refund, no adaptors - nothing. Since I got part of my order and PayPal cannot verify what I did or did not receive, they can do nothing more. Two things learned - don't use PayPal rather than your credit card and don't buy from individuals.

You are right, Sawbuck. PayPal likes to promote how safe you are using them and how they guarantee all kinds of things...but the fact of the matter is that you are better off using a credit card where you can easily dispute the billing and that PayPal does nothing for you in the event of a problem. Don't rule out buying from ALL individuals because of one bad experience. This case is certainly the exception to the rule. I've never met a more honest group of people as a whole than the ones on here.

I've read so many stories of bad dealings with Eric Brooks that I refuse to give him a drop of my business.
There is a guy of RFC.com who is making a kit very similar to Eric's and seems to be a lot more reliable. Might be worth your while to look him up next time.

Yeah - you get screwed! I don't want to advertise his products, but you do get other parts. Well, you are supposed to get other parts.

I've got this kit and never installed it yet.
It comes with a few small sleeves/bushings for the trigger pin.
I believe it also came with a selection of springs.
These should take up any slop from a loose fit.

A few years ago Eric Brooks was rock solid when I emailed him with questions and ordered stuff for a couple of CZ452's. Don't know what happened, but I avoided him after reading all the trouble people were having at RFC when I ordered a trigger kit a few months back.

Is that the correct area code, who has his address, I live in the 607 area code, I could go see what the deal is and try and get the parts for you, might be easier in person, he wouldn't be so likely to blow me off....
There are a lot more ½" rifles than ½" shooters.

I cut my own springs for the 452's and just wondered what else he includes in his "kit".
IIRC, someone mentioned that either he, or his wife are very sick.. That's all I know, hear-say.

Apparently, since he sent me the $15 parts, he has a tracking number and it is his word against mine about what was in the package.
