I received my new lens from Cameraland on Saturday.. Ordered the Tamron 150-600 to go on the Nikon 7100... Wow.. what a lens this is.. Went out for just a short drive last night and got a couple of pictures of some horses in a pasture... Wow, they turned out awesome.

Wife has several Tamron lenses and they are all fantastic. Equal to or better than Oem in my opinion.

That lens is fantastic! I love mine!!! It was a perfect performer in Wyoming last month for me and around the mountain here in Georgia as well.

Wish I had the money to get it right now for my D5000. I have a 170-500 Sigma I use on my D70 and love it!

Be cautious of buying ANY Sigma lens. I bought two for my Canon EOS bodies about 12 years ago and recently decided to sell them both and put them on my newer 50D bodies to make sure they still worked, and they did not.
I contacted Sigma and they said they would be happy to sell me new lens. I asked them if they guaranteed they would work on Canon bodies I might buy in the next ten years and they said no.
$1,500 worth of Sigma lens turned into very expensive paperweights because they were even listed on Ebay with a $1 opening bid and they never sold.
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.
